Cold Water (Short Film)

We're all trying to find something calming amongst the madness. Some people play sudoku, some people wrestle in a cage, some people jump in cold water. When filming Point Break, Patrick Swayze referred to it as "finding your key". But Dannie couldn't care less about keys or Swayze. Her life's a mess and she's willing to try something to shake it off. Dannie's a plumber, she hates it, she's drinking. She's sent to Rajesh's house to fix a blocked drain. Raj has had his very own dealings with drugs and alcohol of late but he is currently moving to a place of spirituality - finding his key. It's not a great interaction on the first meeting for Raj and Dannie but as they begrudgingly get to know each other, they discover some amusement in each other. Raj wants to help her, that's who he is. But his quest to help her is misguided. One key does not fit all.
